Accounting Principals is searching for a versatile Accounting Specialist that is a self-starter and thrives in a fast-paced, corporate construction environment! You'll need 3+ years of accounts payable and accounts receivable experience, along with proficient Excel skills and preferably Timberline software experience. The beginning pay is between $40,000-45,000 per year, in addition to full benefits, excellent PTO and flexible hours. Your daily responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Code, match and enter invoices, as well as process account adjustments
Prepare monthly invoicing and customer statements, as well as post payments to customers' accounts and follow up on past-due balances
Reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable statements
Conduct high-level research and analysis to resolve discrepancies in financial data
Respond to vendor and customer inquiries and prepare for month-end close
Assist the Accounting Manager and other departments with special projects and reporting
High school graduate or equivalent
3+ years of accounts payable/receivable experience
Construction accounting experience highly desired
Proficient in Excel and Timberline software experience preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Detail oriented, ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
