Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant
Documents human resources actions in the field by completing forms, background checks, and E-verify for compliance.
Provide support to Leadership and employees in various HR related topics such as W4 changes, address and personal data changes as needed, and assisting with time off requests.
Maintaining employee files and records in paper and electronic form.
Assist payroll department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. child support, wage garnishments, direct deposits)
Answer employee queries about HR-related issues
Shift 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday thru Friday
Requirements of the Administrative Assistant
Proven experience as Administrative Assistant/HR Admin.
At least 2-year experience in employee on-boarding.
Strong data entry, phone skills, ability to multi task, and attention to detail
Knowledge of Payroll systems (e.g. ADP) will be a plus.
