Contract Senior Corporate Financial Accountant job in Weston at SetPoint Consultants

We are looking for an upbeat, detail-oriented candidate with great computer skills and superior Excel and Access skills. A degree in accounting is highly preferred plus 5-7 years experience in a similar role working for a mid-large size corporation, Fortune 500 company, or one of the Big 4.

Candidates must have proven financial control, public reporting, GAAP accounting, SOX experience is preferred, and have worked with a mid to large-sized corporation in a similar role. The candidate coordinates portions of the financial budgets for the company under the direction of management. The candidate will assist in the forecasting and budgeting process including variance analysis and preparing and delivering reports to the executive team and operational leaders. The candidate will conduct and coordinate financial reviews of business units comparing results to initial estimates and develop actionable changes as a result. The candidate will coordinate routine reports and ad-hoc financial modeling reports as necessary.

Candidate must be proficient with SAP R/3 and S4/HANA experience is a big plus.

The candidate will be auditing, sorting, and manipulating financial data and reviewing financial reports. The candidate will need to have high-level Excel skills including the ability to manipulate, extract and categorize data by headers and columns. Must have experience creating and using Pivot Tables, V-lookup, and other advanced data sorting functions.

The successful candidate should have 5-7 years of senior financial analysis skills. A CPA license is preferred but not required.
