Position: Business Analyst

Location: West Valley, UT

Duration: Long Term Contract


Job Requirement:

  • Gather/validate requirements with stakeholders and the project team.
  • Discuss issues and questions related to claims data analysis, issue documentation; work with business stakeholders to review and resolve these issues.
  • Perform data analysis, using in-depth knowledge of databases and healthcare data.
  • Support all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Actively participate in regression testing and user acceptance testing of documentation
  • Actively participate in PI planning sessions to understand upcoming documentation needs
  • Lead documentation projects with stakeholder participation
  • Work with several development teams to gather needed content for release documentation
  • Keep updated with Optum and industry technical writing guidelines
  • Manage document postings to client portal
  • Ensure client sites pointing to documentation have updated and working links after every release
  • Translate technical jargon into a format that business users can consume
  • 2+ years of experience in the Healthcare industry(Provider, Payer or Clearinghouse)
  • 2+ years experience writing and editing client facing documentation which could include manuals, user guides and technical guides
  • 2+ years experience as a product owner or business analyst
  • 2+ years experience with Agile or Scaled Agile
