This is a PART TIME TEMPORARY position with possible permanent placement.
The Tech will diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul belt or rope skimmers, diaphragm and centrifugal pumps, oil water separators, dissolved air floatation thickening units and such like.
Clean, lubricate, and perform PM’s (Preventative Maintenance).
Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts
Read and understand operating manuals, troubleshooting guides and wiring schematics
Performs daily, weekly and quarterly inspections as required.
High School Diploma or GED required
Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programs
Familiarity with logging work performed into a Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
Good verbal and written communication skills
Valid Driver’s License required.
Must live within 30 minutes of job location.
Must complete the e-RailSafe training course prior to reporting for duty.
Must be able to operate material handling equipment and related power equipment.
Working knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
