Financial Planning and Analysis
The role is a with our well known capital markets client located in the Delray Beach area. You will be supporting the director of FP&A in the identification, transformation and evaluation of information. Be prepared to produce both company-wide and business level performance reports for upper management to use in business guidance. Your effective financial modeling will help further business intelligence and help your implementation of various BI software.
Build and maintain strategic planning models supporting the business growth strategy
• Prepare financial reports and analysis; evaluating financial performance and trends
• Evaluate company production channels, including profitability analysis; report findings directly to senior management
• Evaluate strategic initiatives and report findings to senior management by assessing options in relation to organizational goals
• Develop business intelligence capabilities; directly involved in design and implementation of data warehouse and PowerBI dashboards
• Other duties as assigned.
• 3+ years of FP&A experience in a preferably in financial sector (banking, private equity, specialty finance company)
• Understanding of US GAAP
• Previous experience preparing forecasts utilizing complex financial models
• Extensive understanding of MS Excel and other finance software
• Ability to work in an innovative and dynamic environment; ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize appropriately
• Team player who enjoys working with others and reaching out proactively throughout the firm
• Comfortable working under pressure and flexible in adapting and responding to constantly evolving conditions in a high exposure capacity
• High degree of integrity and honesty
• Experience with PowerBI or other business intelligence applications a plus
• A minimum of a BA in Accounting or Finance and a MBA is strongly desired
