Digital Content Representative

NRUCFC Sterling, VA Full-Time

CFC has a need for a Digital Content Representative on our Corporate Relations team. The Digital Content Representative supports the process of creating and implementing CFC’s digital strategy while working closely with internal and external subject matter experts to support strategic goals.


As a Digital Content Representative, you will:

• Collaborate with internal leadership, the Marketing and Digital Strategy team, the Corporate Communications team and internal stakeholders on execution of CFC’s digital strategy.

• Support CFC digital communications, including Solutions Newsletters, emails, web content, podcasts and video in collaboration with Digital Content Manager and communications team.

• Support the execution of digital content plans designed to support strategic goals.

• Work with internal and external subject matter experts across key areas to research, develop, write and edit compelling digital content and messaging for multiple targeted audiences across various channels including, web, email, podcasts, video and other formats.

• Responsible for developing and publishing web content for internal and external websites including CFC’s websites and Cooperative.com.

• Leverage understanding of digital elements, infographics and design to enhance CFC publications and multimedia.

• Support Communications team’s utilization of online digital platforms and software as well as other relevant programs and initiatives.

To be successful, you will need:

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or related field.

• Five years of experience producing digital content.

• Experience using content management systems and other web user interfaces.

• Experience in digital communications and creating and editing videos and other multimedia content.

• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite. 

• Experience developing and publishing content and experiences for web, email and other digital formats.

• Experience compiling data analytics from web, email and customer management systems and deriving insights and action.

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming language.

• Ability to create compelling content through video, audio and multimedia storytelling.

• Strong knowledge of banking and utility industries and the cooperative business model preferred.

• Strong MS Office skills.
