This is a long term ongoing W2 contract position with no projected end date.

The Maintenance Tech performs facility maintenance, responds to work orders, develops and completes periodical maintenance schedules.
Provides support in troubleshooting, maintaining, repairing and modifying production equipment as needed.
Performs highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and the plant facility’s equipment.
Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of facilities and/or equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic; troubleshoot and repair of facilities and equipment.
Diagnoses problems replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments or recommend subcontractors to address such problems.
Supports additional process improvement projects as needed.
Assists in creating standards and specifications of new equipment installations.
Conforms to the processes and requirements of our integrated management system.
Achieves effectiveness of our integrated management system by following the Quality Policy and meeting company objectives.
Ensures compliance with company environmental, health and safety standards and rules
Develops and maintains total preventive maintenance plan for all process related equipment.
Prioritizes work orders and resolve on time
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Associate Degree a plus.
2+ years’ experience performing facility and equipment related maintenance in a large production facility, preferably automotive.
2+ years’ experience working with a variety of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and material handling equipment.
3+ years of experience working independently with minimal supervision.
1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint.
1+ years of knowledge in database systems, SAP preferred.
Automation and PLC controls.
Hands on experience in industrial maintenance, mechanical, electrical, electronic systems and PC based controls.
Must be a highly flexible individual that can adjust to changes quickly.
Must be willing to work overtime and holidays as needed.
