Electrical Controls Engineering Manager

The TRG Manufacturing Search Division has been engaged to find a Manager of Electrical Controls Engineering for an industry leading OEM equipment manufacturer. This company is part of a multi-billion-dollar corporation and is regarded globally as technological leaders across several industry platforms. This is an outstanding opportunity for a gifted technical leader who can guide and develop a team of younger Electrical Engineers. This highly visible position will lead a team of talented engineers developing new product lines and product line extensions. The ideal candidate for this position is a hands-on, degreed Electrical Engineer with at least 8 years of OEM machinery design experience. If you’re a team-oriented leader who still has hands-on engineering ability, then give us a call. In addition to effectively managing the flow of work within the electrical engineering department, you will make technical design decisions. There are of plenty of new projects on the books that involve servo motion and robotic integration. Background:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or Electromechanical Engineering
  • OEM machine design development experience (packaging equipment, robotic integration, high-speed machinery, custom machine design, automation, etc.)
  • Hands-on Electrical Engineer with demonstrated team leadership experience
  • Demonstrated experience programming servos, programmable logic controllers (PLC's), and robots
  • Strong computer skills; including CAD proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD system
