Florida Engineering Group, Inc., a leading Civil Engineering firm has an immediate opportunity for an experienced (10 years +) Senior Project Engineer with the following experience:

Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and Professional Engineer registration in the State of Florida (PE)
Background: Minimum 10 years related experience in private land development covering both the residential and commercial fields. A strong technical background in drainage and utility design as they apply to single residential, multifamily and commercial projects. The successful candidate should have a full understanding of all phases of the design process and a strong experience in using the latest design tools (i.e. Adicpr, Watercad, AutoCAD etc.). The candidate should be very familiar with the permitting requirements of the local municipalities, state and federal agencies and should demonstrate strong knowledge with respect to their rules.
Good communication, planning, organizational, analytical, problem solving and interpersonal skills are a must.

Major Responsibilities & Activities
The successful Candidate will:

Work with and through project teams, to successfully complete project deliverables starting from the planning phase all the way to the construction administration phase:
Conduct effective communication with project teams, management, and outside clients.
Develop work breakdown structure and identify resource requirements.
Direct the development of the project design, permitting, cost estimates and schedules.
Perform construction administration services and final certifications.
