JOB SUMMARY:


We are currently looking for a talented New Business Development/Inside Sales rep that thrives in a quick sales cycle and creative environment. The New Business Development/Inside Sales (also referred internally as Associate Producer) is responsible for identifying and securing Leads for potential participation on one of our original produced television shows that air on the Lifetime channel and Fox Business Network.


The AP will qualify Leads through online and telephone research, including lead information, identification of key decision makers and uncovering new brand initiatives. The Associate Producer will be responsible for presenting business opportunities to C-level decision makers, including creative concepts and funding requirements.


The AP will be an integral part of the entire sales process and will utilize sales methods and techniques as directed by management. Additional responsibilities include contract writing, creating story lines for participants and/or content partners to integrate their product or service into our original programming.


Excellent communication skills are required on a business-to-business level with Presidents, CEOs, and marketing professionals. An AP will have an outgoing personality, can talk to anyone, and have a passion for connecting and educating people with brands to do life better.

Qualifications


  • Minimum 4 years’ experience in an inside sales environment with a proven track record achieving measurable sales goals in a high-paced automated environment

  • Track record of over-achieving quota in any sales environment 

  • Experience utilizing social media and online resources for research and leads

  • Experience in full sales cycle, prospecting, pitching and closing

  • Strong negotiation skills

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Strong phone presence and experience dialing and/or receiving dozens of calls per day

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills

  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, follow-up and manage time effectively

  • Highly motivated

  • Advertising/Television experience a plus
