We sell high-quality parts to our tier one customers around the world in the automotive, aerospace, construction, transportation and other industries. The business has been owned by the same Racine family for the past 55 years. All machining is performed in our air conditioned, 112,000 SF facility in Racine Wisconsin.

  • The human resource manager serves employees as well as management by handling day to day questions and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Helps in creating and communicating company policies, procedures & promotes understanding of policies and procedures within the organization
  • Recruits for open positions and performs the full life cycle of recruiting activities including: sourcing and screening applicants, maintaining recruiting systems, drafting offer letters, providing follow-through with candidates, supporting hiring managers, reporting recruiting statistics, set up and monitor pre-employment drug test, physicals, background checks
  • Creating and updating job descriptions with members of management; assist in classifying positions as needed for the company
  • Provide advice and assistance when conducting staff performance evaluations
  • The human resource manager identifies training and development opportunities, organizes staff training sessions, workshops, and other activities as per need of the staff members
  • Provide basic counseling to staff who have performance related obstacles, provide information for healthcare services, housing and other basic need assistance
  • Provide assistance to top management in developing human resource plans
  • Helps with employee on-boarding activities; answer employee questions and provide support to assistant managers when integrating new hires into the organization
  • Work with safety coordinator to keep in compliance, member of the safety committee, maintains training records
  • Works with staffing agencies and work release program coordinator regarding all matters pertaining to temporary employees and work release participants
  • Maintains numeration report, communicates with managers, CEO, COO and CFO as needed for new job requisitions
  • Creates, monitors and assigns security badges
  • Administer employee benefit programs, answer employee questions, support claim resolution, and maintain related systems
  • Focuses on the performance review process & provides employees and managers with information about the process, policies, job duties, and process for promotion
  • Leads employee recognition programs
  • Responsible to Maintain employee records
  • Responsible for new hire, termination, and change of status forms with payroll
  • Serves as employee liaison to assist in problem resolution with issues related to benefit deductions and pay
  • Ensures compliance with applicable employment laws and regulations
  • Perform investigations into policy violations including reasonable suspicion. Transport employee to designated clinic or hospital for drug/alcohol testing
  • Maintains records and provides information to the department of work force development regarding unemployment claims
  • Maintains bulletin boards with updated information i.e. labor board, policies, company announcement
  • Other office duties and tasks as needed
