Are you seeking a rewarding career opportunity to make a difference in the lives of children, young adults and adults with Developmental Disabilities?  We are currently in search of an experienced Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional to join our team of professionals to function as the Behavior Management QIDP!

This unique Behavior Management QIDP position is expected to develop and implement goal directed behavior management plans in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Team with approval from the Human Rights Committee.  Ongoing, the Behavior Management QIDP monitors and manages the data collection by staff, and provides education regarding behavior plan implementation and data collection techniques.  Additionally, the Behavior Management QIDP schedules and conducts monthly behavior management meetings with the case management staff and pharmacist, to discuss progress, program implementation and collaboration with outside agencies, if necessary.  The Behavior Management QIDP also assists in the development of the Individual Program Plan and ensures that required Psychological Assessments are conducted timely, according to established intervals.  Throughout the year, the QIDP works closely with the case management staff to ensure that psychotropic consents are accurate, up to date and revised accordingly.


Qualified candidates MUST be registered as a Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional with good standing on the Illinois QIDP registry.  Priority will be given to candidates with extensive experience working with Behaviors, Reduction Plans, and Behavioral Support Techniques with a keen understanding of psychotropic medications and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.  Candidates must be organized and have the ability to multi task in a fast-paced environment.  Behavioral Analyst Certificate is a plus, but not required!
