Job Requirements

We’re looking for a business development professional who will assume a highly visible and active role within the company. This role involves contact with clients including initial screenings and participating in follow-up sales meetings & communications. You will manage reporting, tracking, and follow-up activities, identify sales leads, pitch goods or services to new clients and maintain a good working relationship with new contacts.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Actively seek out new business opportunities and build sales pipeline
  • Oversee inbound and outbound leads
  • Lead client-facing meetings, help frame solutions and showcase our talent and capabilities
  • Handle objections by clarifying, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
  • Assist in preparing documentation such as contracts and budget proposals
  • Support nurturing campaigns
  • Mentor entry-level staff

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • 3+ years of professional experience with business development in IT industry
  • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques
  • Proven track record of software sales is required.
  • Ideal candidates will have a 4-year degree in accounting, information technology or business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal verbal skills and superior presentation skills are required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (a must)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ambitious, responsible and action-oriented - getting this done well and efficiently
  • Ability to influence decisions and close contracts using a proactive consultative approach
