Software Engineer
As a Control Systems Engineer, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:
Duties:
Including but not limited to:
- Providing effective control system solutions to a variety of new and existing automated process equipment
- Understanding and integrating with the company’s manufacturing data systems and control systems to provide software tools for data analytics, visualization, and machine learning
- Interacting with process engineers and controls engineers to understand problems and assess the need for smart manufacturing solutions
- Leading deployment of Industry 4.0 applications
- Implementing data automation solutions to drive productivity improvement
- Developing and utilizing advanced analytics solutions
- Willingness to be on-call (interest question)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution in Control Systems, Electrical Engineering and Software Development.
OR
- Associates Degree/Technical Diploma (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and two (2) years of Control Systems, Electrical Engineering, Software Development, Data Analysis, Data Integration, and/or Manufacturing Process Optimization in a private, public, government or military environment
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
- Five (5) years’ experience working with machine control system design and commissioning
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and/or Siemens controls systems and hardware
- Experience with PLC, OPC automation and/or robotics
- Manufacturing Execution System (MES) integration experience
- Savigent Software (Symphony Industrial AI) experience
- Database skills with SQL scripts and stored procedures
Travel:
May include up to 20% domestic/international
