Provides support, leadership, and manages all Human Resources functions. Responsible for the development and implementation of Human Resources programs, including talent acquisition, training, employee relations, communications, compensation and regulatory and compliance.


Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Serves as a functional resource for employees, ensuring their understanding and compliance with HR policies and regulations
  • Manages the employee relation efforts that promote effective employee and management relations
  • Provides HR guidance through planning, organizing, and controlling the activities of the HR department in support of the facility
  • Keeps management advised of potential opportunities and recommends and implements solutions as necessary
  • Participates in the development and implementation of goals and objectives
  • Manage the recruitment and selection process to identify top talent that meets the needs for hourly, professional, managerial
  • Assists in determining training needs and developing programs to improve performance and professional development
  • Conduct training for hourly and management teams
  • Responsible for managing and developing direct report (s)
  • Partner with Safety to promote and create a safe work environment and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations
  • Manages recognition events
  • Maintain strong knowledge of current HR industry trends. 
  • Liaison to various vendors
  • Will serve as a backup for payroll/benefits
Minimum Job Requirements:
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management
  • PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Experience:
  • 7+ years of experience in an HR capacity, preferably in an warehouse, transportation or manufacturing environment
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be computer literate with experience with HRIS programs
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present in front of large group
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to multi-task with good organizational skills
  • Must be able to lead and work well in a team environment
  • Bilingual a plus
