A local company is seeking an Administrative Assistant to the Operations Manager. This individual will be involved in a variety of tasks, supporting the day to day operations.
Human Resources: overview employee benefits, including insurances, FSA and 401K plan. Responsible for sending out mandatory notices for 401K. Send periodic information about benefits to employees to employees, send out mandatory notices for 401K. Process payroll and input into Paychex system, maintain vacation/PTO requests
Accounts Receivable: apply checks received & ACH payments, monitor open accounts, and correspond with past due accounts
Accounts Payable: verify vendor, freight, and monthly fee invoices; maintain monthly air shipment costs and fees in Excel file; process vendor invoices and payments.
General Ledger: learn GL accounts and which items get expended to accounts
Expense Reports: review expense reports from sales/technical staff
Good Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to multi-task
Willing to learn a multitude of new tasks, training will be provided on numerous job specific responsibilities
Good organizational skills
3 to 5 years of administrative experience
Technical or Bachelor’s Degree a plus
Must be a self-starter and team player
Looking for someone interested in long term employment
Compensation: 45K - 55K
