Education

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business or economics and related field
  • Professional qualification such as CFA / CPA or similar will be considered a plus

 

Technical Skills and Prior Experience


  • 10+ years’ of proven experience in finance role of a large multinational corporation (experience with a chemical industry will be helpful)
  • Superior mathematical skills, solid communication skills (both written and verbal), public speaking skills and strong interpersonal skills
  • Multi tasking abilities and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Integrity & honesty is a must
  • Knowledge of working on SAP is required
  • Prior experience of merger & acquisitions will be preferred

Auriga Polymers Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Indorama Ventures PLC is seeking a Finance Manager (Corporate) to join our Corporate Accounting group located at our Charlotte NC office complex.  We are looking for a highly motivated professional with demonstrated capabilities.  A successful individual in this role must have strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task in a fast paced, ever-changing environment.

 

General Description: A high-growth multinational corporation is seeking an experienced and professional Finance Manager to join our team in the regional corporate office in Charlotte NC. The position will play a key role in the organization’s funding strategy and long-term financial goals. The Finance manager will collaborate with the senior management team to analyze finances and develop budgets that will keep the organization/s costs down

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities                                                                         

 

  • Monitor the day-to-day financial & treasury operations
  • Track the group’s financial status and performance to identify aread of potential improvement
  • Seek out methods for minimizing financial risks
  • Research & analyse financial reports and market trends
  • Provide insightful information and expectatons to the senior management to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Review financial data, prepare financial models and periodic reports to stimulate financial scenerios
  • Present financial reports to the stakeholders in formal meetings
  • Stay up to date with technology advances and softwares to be used for financial purposes
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures
  • Manage the preparation of the annual budgets
  • Understand and adhere to financial regulations and statutory legislations
  • Review, monitor, analyse and evaluate cost reduction opportunities
  • Works with statutory & internal auditors for compliances & reporting
  • Develop white papers of financial strategies to meet business objectives
  • Review the bank facility documents & legal documents and negotiate on terms with financial institutions
  • Ensure compliance of various requirements & covenants of the borrowings
  • Provide support required by the VP for his other responsibilties
