Job Description

Position: Customer Service Rep - OEM Sales 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Receives and processes new orders, revises due dates, and releases for shipment.

  2. Maintains and updates monthly departmental reports.

  3. Periodically audits before and after sales to OEM accounts. Ensures that continuing contacts are made and proper sales service support is provided.

  4. Supports OE/PB Account Managers with internal duties as required.

  5. Responds to customer inquiries regarding billing and shipping errors, backorders, and other service-related concerns.

  6. Advises management of any breakdown in communication, loss of sales, contact, or service, and assures that corrective action is taken.

  7. Responds on a timely basis to customer phone inquiries regarding products, pricing, backorders, competitive. programs, credit, and freight

  8. Processes all additional documentation including letters of credit, freight forwarding, insurance, and customer file maintenance.

  9. Completes special paperwork required for special customers order processing and creates and maintains files for special accounts.

  10. Demonstrates professional phone communications and interpersonal skills

  11. Is responsible for monitoring outstanding old shipping tickets and determining how to pursue.

  12. Is responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance of all company procedures and policies.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school education.
  • Associate’s degree in business administration or marketing with two or more years experience interacting with customers, is preferred
