We are a debt-relief firm focused on providing our customers with the assistance and guidance they need to reduce their consumer debt. Due to the current economic state of the country, consumer debt is at an all-time high. We are seeking to help those that have high consumer debt to reduce or eliminate their debt so they can start focusing on their immediate and long-term financial goals.
As a Sales Consultant with us, you will be focusing on enrolling prospective customers into one of our debt relief programs. You will also use your sales knowledge and experience to negotiate with creditors to obtain the best interest rates for your clients. While there aren’t “hard” sales involved in this role, you will need to lean on some sales tactics and marketing tactics to close deals and enroll clients in our program.
Sales Consultant Responsibilities:
- Meet with customers to assess their financials
- Recommend and encourage enrollment in our debt-relief program
- Use sales tactics to negotiate with creditors on behalf of your customers in order to obtain the best possible interest rate for them
- Follow up with customers to build rapport and advise on next steps
- Be focused on the customer at all times – helping customers become debt-free is the Sales Consultant’s top priority
- Become an expert on our debt-relief program offerings and our enrollment process in order to best serve customers
- Use your sales and customer service experience to identify customer needs and offer effective solutions
Sales Consultant Requirements:
- 3-5 years experience in a sales role. Preferably in the finance industry, but that is not mandatory as we will provide training.
- We have found that persons with backgrounds in timeshare sales, B2B sales, telesales, and residential sales excel in this position.
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a related industry, or a combination of schooling + experience is preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Proven ability to identify customer needs and close sales.
- Basic knowledge of computer applications, and considers learning new applications relatively easy.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
