Practice Manager opportunity for a Non-profit

Our client is a Nonprofit looking for a Practice Manager for their Behavioral Health agency, has been providing compassionate counseling for individuals, couples and families, their clinicians have specialized areas of expertise in various area assisting in seeking help with life's challenges.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage the day-to-day administration and operation of the practice.
• Oversee the financial management and metrics of the practice to improve performance and efficiency.
• Establish and monitor the operating budget. Sets clients rates and evaluates the profitability of private pay and other clients while working with third party payors, other health organizations, and government agencies.
• Manage relationships/agreements with external partners/vendors and oversee managed-care relationships, including monitoring of related reimbursements, negotiation with third party payers, provider credentialing and maintenance of contracts.
• Manage and develop IT and all systems to ensure best practices are used.
• All other functions necessary to complete the tasks at hand.

Education/Professional:
• Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Nonprofit Management or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years practice management experience within private practice, health care center or hospital.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in behavioral health management positions is preferred.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and technology savvy.
