Talis Group’s client is a well-established manufacturing company with family friendly culture and excellent reputation among its customers.Company is hiring a Systems / Network Administrator to manage help-desk, hardware, software, phone and security systems. This position is open due to retirement and will offer training. Excellent benefit package and salary range
Responsible for hardware, software, telecommunications, security and other related IT services
Install, troubleshoot and maintain business systems applications
Plan and implement all hardware installations, troubleshooting and updating
Complete preventative maintenance on all hardware and software systems
Manage company’s Network Help Desk Contractor
Ensure the successful and continued operation of the company’s network infrastructure
Monitor network performance, including gathering, analyzing and preparing statistical reports and trend analysis.
Ensure network, systems and data are protected through effective security protocols
Design, implement and sustain the system backup and business disaster recovery policies/procedures in accordance with Company business continuity objectives.
Maintain and administer phone system and corporate cell phone usage
Work closely with all departments to ensure communication flow
Serve as subject matter expert on ERP system
Bachelors Degree in IT related field preferred
5+ years of experience in network administration and help desk
2+ years of experience with ERP / MRP systems required – SAP preferred
Must have excellent customer support / customer service skills
Must have experience with Microsoft Network
Proven troubleshooting, problem solving skills and communication skills
