Mechanical Product Engineer


  • Work with World Class multi-disciplined project teams designing and supporting every aspect of analytical instruments including packaging, simple and complex mechanisms, and varying levels of automation.

  • Perform complex analysis such as stress/strain, thermal analysis, fluid flow analysis using FEA or similar technology.

  • Test and Measure the performance of mechanical components, devices and equipment

  • Assist with training and supporting Production personnel during new product launches.

  • Keep abreast of relevant research

  • Write reports and documentation

  • Provide technical advice 


  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Advanced degree a plus)

  • 10+ years mechanical engineering design experience

  • 4+ years in an engineering leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM software (Solid Works)

  • Excellent prioritization and project management skills

  • Superb track record working in cross-functional team environments

  • Demonstrated innovator and problem solver

  • Able to demonstrate numerical and scientific ability

  • Comfortable with FEA and advanced diagnostic techniques

  • Superior group communication skills with team-orientated focus are a must since designs will be developed alongside Electrical Engineers, Software Engineers, and Scientists from various disciplines.

  • Basic knowledge of manufacturing operations

  • Familiarity with castings, sheet-metal, metals, ceramics, and plastics is a plus.
