Our client based in San Jose, CA is looking to hire a Mid-level Front-end Software Engineer who will be responsible for the timely completion of large projects. You will be working alone or in tandem with other engineers. Our client needs an Engineer who has a strong understanding of best practices, organizational coding standards, and organizational development processes.
While the specific work of this individual will be defined by the needs of the organization, they should be capable of the following types of work:
- Building stand-alone widgets for updating a UI
- Significant front-end code optimization
- Designing and implementing new top-level interactions
- Integration of reusable UI components/designs into an existing system
- Iterating and refining concepts within constraints and with feedback and input from leadership team, designers, and engineers
- MUST have 4 years of engineering experience
- MUST be very proficient in HTML/CSS, including responsive development and accessibility
- Experience with unit testing and test driven development
- 2 years of engineering Team Lead experience
- Strong leadership, communication, project management, and organizational skills
