Accountant for Construction
Creative Financial Staffing (CFS) of New York is working with a growing construction firm who is seeking an Accountant to join their team. The role reports directly to the Controller, and has a very competitive salary with bonus and great benefits. Responsibilities of the Accountant include:
- Invoicing/Billing on active projects
- Oversee all Accounts Payable/Receivables
- Assist in monthly close process
- Assist with audits for subcontractors to maintain compliance
- Additional ad hoc duties as it relates to general accounting
Requirements of the Accountant include:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Construction accounting or cost accounting experience a plus
- Strong Excel skills preferred
- QuickBooks experience a plus
