Harbor Healthcare System (HHCS) was founded in 2005 with plans to develop and manage health care related businesses. We developed our model around synergistic partnerships with an emphasis on quality care and focused improvement versus the standard approach based solely on profitability.
We began with a core group of professionals with years of experience in hospice care and with the success of our first hospices in Southeast Texas and Louisiana; we found our niche in health care management. It’s our philosophy of exceptional health care, exceptional people that has helped to ensure our success.
Currently, we operate 35 hospices throughout Texas and Louisiana, home health agencies in Beaumont, Baytown and Houston, a long-term acute care hospital in Beaumont, a durable medical equipment company and several physician clinics. We have plans to open 4 new inpatient facilities in Texas and Louisiana.
From 2011 to 2013, we have seen a 59% growth rate within our company, in turn, creating jobs and establishing new companies in many different communities. We are expecting substantial growth in the future and look forward to the challenges.
Harbor’s primary objective is to help existing health care operations reach their full potential. Our dedicated management team has over 150 years of combined experience in various health care fields. We work closely with each organization to achieve the success and quality of services which have become the hallmark of Harbor operations.
HHCS has the leadership experience and resources to address the challenges of today’s health care market.
