Job Description

M.C. Velar is currently looking for a Payroll Coordinator/ Administrator  for our Human Resources Department. If you are outgoing, a fast learner and looking for a company where there is a chance for advancement, this is the position for you. The position will be located in Hialeah, FL. In this position, the HR/Payroll Clerk may be required to:

  • Collaborate with Operations regarding new hires, terminations and benefit deductions.
  • Manage and generate various reports from timekeeping and payroll systems.
  • Serve as primary point of contact for all payroll related matters and with the ability to respond to time-sensitive and/or confidential matters in a professional manner.
  • Assist with the administration of certain company benefits, including annual benefit enrollments, and any other special projects.
  • Maintain all employment records, personnel files and all related documentation.
  • Handle various HR & PR administrative responsibilities.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field is preferred 
  • 1-2 years experience 
  • Bi - Lingual Preferred 
  • ADP Workforce Now Preferred 
  • Certified Payroll Preferred
