Job Description

A rapidly growing distributor of consumer products located in Palm Beach Gardens is looking for an experienced Office Assistant for their growing customer service department due to additional product lines being added.  This is a temp to hire position through PrideStaff.  

Position Summary:  This position will support the Sales Team with processing of customers’ orders, coordinating and routing shipments to retail customers.


Job Responsibilities:


·         Process customer sales orders by entering the orders into the system, verify pricing and confirming the order back to the customer

·         Complete any necessary documentation for shipments (e.g.: packing lists, pallet labels)

·         Coordinate shipments to the customer with our logistics companies and complete required documentation (ex:  packing lists, pallet labels)

·         Keep sales team and customers informed on order status with phone calls and emails

·         Follow up on order status, shipping discrepancies and returns

·         Maintain all necessary order documentation in hard copy and digital format as required

·         Work closely with internal departments to ensure customer satisfaction

Job Requirements

·         One to three years of relevant customer service order processing experience

·         Strong organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple tasks

·         Dependable with proficient attention to detail

·         Excellent follow-up skills

·         Strong customer service orientation

·         Ability to work independently and as part of a team

·         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

·         Solid problem-solving skills

·         Must be familiar with Microsoft office
