Our established manufacturing company is searching for a competent and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for overseeing the operation of the manufacturing department and the efficacy of the overall program to ensure the utmost in customer satisfaction. The Quality Manager will also be responsible for ensuring continual quality improvement within the facility. Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14000 is a big plus.
Improve reliability of new product development processes
Maintain company quality standards
Review products, processes and systems on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
Oversee the product manufacturing process to ensure quality
Actively participate in production meetings with the manufacturing team
Provide strategic planning and management of our QMS (Quality Management System), the tactical execution of all aspects of quality engineering associated with the new product development, closed loop corrective action (CLCA), internal audit and material review board.
Good understanding of GD&T
5 to 10 years of experience managing quality in a Machine Shop or Similar environment
Willingness to interact with customers
Working knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC)
Understanding of blueprints and common inspection equipment such as CMM's, hand tools etc.
