Brilliant Financial Staffing has been engaged in a search for a Junior Staff Accountant for our client in the technology industry. Our client, located in Barrington, is experiencing tremendous growth and is eager for a Junior Staff Accountant to learn and grow with the company on a temporary to hire basis. The company offers a laid back, energetic atmosphere to work in and facilitates hands on training. The Junior Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and be responsible for the accounts payable, accounts receivable, and assisting with the month-end close. The ideal candidate will be able to interview as soon as possible and begin work immediately after. Junior Staff Accountant Responsibilities: • Process accounts payable and accounts receivable invoices • Preparation of variance analysis on monthly financial statements • Participation in month end close, including preparation of journal entries • Maintenance of general ledger accounts • Tracking of Accounts Receivable • Assistance with budgeting and forecasting
Junior Staff Accountant Qualifications: • Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting • Intermediate Excel skillset (v look-up & pivot tables) • Exposure to SalesForce is ideal • 1 - 5 years of accounting experience • Strong communication and analytical skills • Strong attention to detail
