Cart Maintenance Site Manager


The Site Manager is responsible for supervising and managing a crew of Cart Service Drivers in the successful delivery, pickup, repair, and conditioning of residential recycling and trash containers. The Site Managers duties include, but are not limited to, hiring/firing and motivating the team, creating the Cart Service Drivers routes, control of site budget, work order management, DOT compliance and safety goals, ensuring coworker timesheets are accurately recorded, management of inventory and yard organization (ensuring that carts are washed and stacked neatly ready to be delivered).  In addition, the Cart Maintenance Site manager must also have the ability to run a route of cart service tasks when needed. The Site Manager must communicate professionally with customers, Drivers, and other departments at all times.  Strong computer skills and MS Excel experience are required.


The position routinely requires physical exertions such as repetitive lifting, pushing, and pulling carts that weigh from 25 to 50 pounds as part of their daily routine. This position will require you to work in all weather extremes including extreme hot or cold, wet or dry conditions. This is a full time, salaried position with a comprehensive benefits package.

 

Minimum qualifications of this position include: 

  • 3 years safe driving experience
  • Experience supervising/managing others
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Valid Driver’s License (CDL NOT required)
  • Must be able to meet D.O.T. requirements for a medical card
  • Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) drug screen, background, and motor vehicle records check
  • Experience driving in all weather conditions extremely helpful.
  • Prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Good Computer skills including MS Excel extremely helpful.
