Duties & Responsibilities

 

ESSENTIAL

  • Identify, research, and track business opportunities and solicitations suitable for OTECH.
  • Provide proposal support including data gathering, quality control, formatting and document design.
  • Organize all supplied technical materials and monitor proposal for accurate content, consistency, and compliance with RFP requirements.
  • Prepare proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and develop production schedules. Coordinate document production and delivery, including electronic submittals.
  • Assist in updating internal BD SharePoint site, as well as maintaining internal OTECH repository of proposal resources.
  • Act as liaison between OTECH and corporate Marketing department.

ADDITIONAL

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Reporting Relationships

  • Reports to Business Development Manager.

Qualifications

 

REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in business development and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Adobe Suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Able to effectively interact with customers and all levels of the company.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Must be able to lift and move tradeshow/event materials and equipment as needed.
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • US Citizenship required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Government Clearance

DESIRED

  • Previous sales experience is beneficial.

The Business Development Analyst II supports OTECH’s business development (BD) and marketing activities through research, coordination, and administration of proposal activities and potential procurement opportunities. The Business Development Analyst II serves as an internal point of contact for proposals, white papers, RFIs, and sources sought responses from inception through final submittal to the customer.
