Administrative Assistant / Receptionist


Our client is a financial services firm in Midtown Manhattan, and they are seeking a bright and dedicated individual to join their company as a Receptionist / Administrative Assistant. The person selected for this role will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:

  • Answering phones/screening calls
  • Greeting visitors and vendors
  • Arranging travel (flights, hotel, car rentals) and car service
  • Placing food orders for meetings
  • Entering names for building security and service requests
  • Maintaining company-wide calendar/conference rooms
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Maintaining and ordering kitchen supplies
  • Managing FedEx and messenger service
  • Sorting and distributing mail


Desired Skills & Experience:

The ideal candidate will possess a combination of the following attributes:

  • BA degree
  • Must have at least one-two years of work experience in an office environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Organized and punctual
  • Friendly demeanor
  • Strong relationship building skills to communicate with internal team and executive level management to gather/convey relevant information
  • Demonstrated dependability and sense of urgency about getting results
  • Interest in the financial services sector is a plus
