Job Description

3460:   Maintenance Supervisor / Manager, hands on:  MI location in the Kalamazoo region.  Growing and expanding plastics manufacturing company seeks a hands-on , degreed Maintenance Manager with TPM experience (Total Productive Maintenance). 

Duties and responsibilities:

Provide leadership to the plant maintenance team that takes care of the plant equipment and grounds.

Development and implementation of continuous improvement techniques and procedures into the system.

Function as the plant subject matter expert for safety and environmental compliance.

Support the plant utilization and cost objectives.

Will manage a staff of 5 including Maintenance Planner, an EE, a Team Lead, the Tooling Team Lead and a Reliability Engineer.

Job Requirements


BS Engineering preferred, AS degree required.

Hands-on and willing to work on equipment part of the time if needed..

Skills to include workforce utilization, scheduling, lean and some equipment design/modification skills.

Able to setup program to support the plant and meet utilization and cost objectives.
