Electrical Technician

AllSTEM Connections is looking for an Electrical Assembly Technician to work in Huntersville, North Carolina. This is a contract to direct hire position with benefits. Hours are M-F from 6am – 4:30pm. You are eligible for overtime at this position.




        Daily task will consist of electro-mechanical assembly, wiring and testing of various electrical panels, new machinery wiring, labeling of all devices and wires, and various electrical assembly task related to custom machinery.

        Maintain company standards for quality.

        Exercise safe work habits & maintain a clean and safe working area.

        Must have an understanding of computer programs such as Excel, Word and Adobe.

        Train and assist new employees as needed.

        High school/GED/trade school graduation required.

        Exercise safe work habits & maintain a clean and safe working area.

        Display good work ethics and co-operation with management and peers.

        Follow all company policies and procedures.

        Work overtime hours as required.

        Responsible for completing project specific documents such as check out sheets, test documents, and following project specific work instructions.

        Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned (i.e. making of cable assemblies, electro-mechanical assemblies, shipping & receiving, performing light fabrications, etc.)





        3+ continuous years of previous Industrial Control Panel and Machine wiring experience desired.

        Able to read and interpret electrical schematics and dimensioning layout drawings for installation / mounting of drives, servos, PC’s, PLC’s, circuit breakers, transformers, relays, contractors, terminals, fuse boxes or any other required industrial control devices.

        Understand the use of hand tools, hand crimpers, wire cutters, wire strippers, electrical testing equipment.

        Experience in the bending / forming of “Rigid” and “EMT” conduits desired

        Knowledge of NEC, NFPA-70E and UL-508 standards desired.

        Capable of using drill, tap, and knock out punches in mounting of components to the panel.

        Able to do point to point wiring of internal components such as Terminal Blocks, Relays, PLC’s, Motor starters, Drives, etc… utilizing electrical schematics.

        Use a DVM to verify and trouble shoot wiring.
