Description:
Direct Delivery Coordinator
- Receives, assesses and resolves day-to-day issues relayed via e-mail or phone such as cancellations, missed deliveries, scheduling issues, incorrect data, EDI issues, returns or customer complaints in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepares and distributes daily management reports such as Error Reports, Return Reports, Claims Reports and other standard and ad hoc reports as needed in an accurate manner.
- Monitors performance adherence to SLAs with Plants, customers and home delivery providers. Follows up on all issues and gives recommendations on internal control improvements.
- Client Plant interaction to ensure plants are adhering to the returns SOP and assist in providing reporting and assistance when needed to the plants along with being the liaison between the client plant and the carrier
Education/Experience:
- HS diploma or GED; Associates degree preferred
- Two years of experience of progressively responsible delivery/shipping routing and/or high volume transactional accounting or administrative/office experience preferred.
- Intermediate spreadsheet (Excel) skills with experience using VLOOKUP functions.
- Working knowledge of mainframe-based systems and solid Internet research skills.
- Familiarity with delivery service industry and administrative functions.
- Logistics experience
- Working knowledge of EDI scanning and requirements
- Experience working in a team environment
- Experience with Customer service problem solving
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
