  • Lead the Engineering Team in 3D modeling transition to create, update, and maintain designs and drawings for
  • Streamline BOM (bill of materials) and part number creation process and lead the team to deliver all documentation to production on time.
  • Oversee the programming for the fabrication machines including Amada press brakes, Amada and Strip pit punch machines as well as CNC automated milling centers.
  • Work closely with production and R&D in developing custom fabricated parts when needed. Use standard components to build customs and eliminate obsolete part numbers where possible.
  • Collaborate with production to design for maneuver ability and ensure accurate and timely production eliminating inefficient process steps.
  • Implement visual management and capacity planning in engineering.
  • Select, train, and develop CAD Draftsmen.
  • Serve as liaison between Engineering team and Sales team.
  • All other tasks as directed.
