Sterling Medical is seeking skilled Pediatric Occupational Therapist for positions in Europe and Japan! These great career opportunities are working with military children and families.. Live and Work Abroad!!! 

The United States Air Force (USAF) provides Educational and Developmental Intervention Services (EDIS) to children and families residing in outside of the continental United States (OCONUS) regions pursuant to the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act.

All providers should have at least one (1) year within the past five (5) years of experience working within the age group for which employment is being considered.  This experience may also be gained during practicum, internship, or a clinical fellowship as part of a degree program. 

.  Pediatric Occupational Therapists (POTs):


 Shall perform occupational therapy prevention, maintenance, and restoration programs, motor coordination, and spatial orientation.


 Shall evaluate, develop treatment plans, and implement treatment regarding occupational performance (e.g., work, leisure, and self-care proficiencies) and performance components, which include motor, cognitive, social and psychological function IAW the professional standards established by the American Occupational Therapy Association.


  Shall continually evaluate progress toward functional goals and modify treatment plan accordingly and discontinuing treatment when appropriate.


  Shall perform the duties of an early interventionist in a primary provider model on a transdisciplinary team. 


  Shall perform the duties of a medically related service provider in the school. POTs must serve in both roles and meet the qualifications for both EI providers and MRS providers.
