Develop and execute marketing tactics to meet business goals -- from a website development perspective to innovating content and content executions.

Responsible for driving traffic to web pages, and for maximizing search engine optimization (SEO).

Ensure that website content is optimized for the user experience.

Participate in cross-functional complex projects, designed to maximize our web presence and customer utilization.



  • Meet with clients and explain web best practices and design concepts.

  • Collaborate and maintain close relationships with cross-functional teams to maximize reach of web content efforts and ensure alignment across channels and teams.

  • Own web projects from beginning to end, from gathering of requirements, design and development, to testing, launch, and support.

  • Provide website development feedback and feasibility checks during project planning and evaluation.

  • Document project updates and status using project management software.

  • Develop page mockups based on project requirements.

  • Review project deliverables to ensure project parameters and results are complete and accurate.

  • Effectively anticipate problems and help proactively generate solutions.

  • Create, update, and maintain content in web content management system.

  • Select and edit photographic assets for use on the site.

  • Arrange, edit, and create content for websites; assist with approving all web content prior to going live on website.

  • Create content that is SEO friendly.

  • Ensure that marketing sites comply with brand and messaging standards.

  • Follow established coding standards, writing, and design style guides.

  • Code emails into HTML using image slicing and hand-coding techniques.

  • Maintain, expand, and scale our site; ensure content is relevant and up-to-date.

  • Manage quality control content on the marketing website.

  • Manage process for regular content review of key pages and ensure all pages are reviewed on schedule.

  • Execute content updates and correction requests from marketing managers within the CMS

  • Create unique interactive experiences that push the boundaries and resonate with a variety of audiences.

  • Contribute to the overall user experience; edit and update existing web pages to optimize user experience.

  • Update web pages to be mobile friendly/responsive.

  • Produce training and best practice web experience guides.

  • Monitor web analytics KPIs, create reports, and identify opportunities for optimization.

  • Use Google Analytics and performance data to implement improvements.


  • Bachelor’s degree in digital media, marketing, business, communications, journalism, design or related field

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience required

  • 3-5 years of experience with front-end web development preferred

  • 2-4 years of experience in email development required

  • Expertise in modern web development using HTML5, CSS3, and Javascript required

  • Critical thinking, analytical, and creative talent to develop a concept, idea, or content into a strong visual presentation that maximizes marketing effectiveness required

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including strong editing, grammar, and proof reading skills required

  • Experience with creating responsive, cross-browser and cross-platform compliant pages required

  • Application and presentation of email best practices to campaigns and stakeholders required

  • Understanding of SEO best practices required

  • Strong customer service orientation required

  • Experience and proven track record updating websites utilizing a web content management system required

  • Experience with digital graphic art production required

  • Comfortable with templating languages and application of logic – programming knowledge is a plus preferred

  • Previous experience with agile methodology a plus including JIRA required
