Job Description

This position supports the Assistant Controller by performing various general accounting support tasks including preparing, processing, and maintaining financial data in an accurate and timely manner. Specific duties include reviewing and reconciling vendor statements; providing back-up support for Accounts Payable Clerk; responding to all Company personnel and vendor inquiries; assisting in the monthly general ledger closing process. This is a temporary to permanent hire.

Job Requirements

Qualifications required: At least two (2) years basic accounting and data entry experience; high school diploma required, two (2) year business school preferred; experience with PDI accounting software preferred. Proficient with PC-based computer systems and Microsoft Office; good understanding of accounting theory. Highly detail oriented and well organized; ability to meet assigned deadlines; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction.
