JAC Products, a leading Global Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is looking for a dedicated individual that will thrive in a growing, fast-paced team environment to join our Sales team at our technical corporate office in Pontiac, Michigan.
The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the Ford account by being the account lead and primary liaison to the customer. They are expected to be accountable for all deadlines throughout the life cycle of Ford programs, including programs in development (pre-launch), in production, and past model service programs.
- Create value to our Ford customers by finding custom solutions and developing innovations
- Enhance technical and fact-based selling tactics by using an understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes
- Understand and analyze customer market trends with the intention to solidify JAC’s position to remain a trusted partner
- Conduct face-to-face meetings and customer check-ups on a weekly and bi-weekly basis
- Improve responsiveness to customer requests such as engineering estimates and quote submissions
What You Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field
- At least 5 years of experience in Account/Sales Management, preferably Tier 1 Automotive Supplier
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Successful experience in negotiating sales contracts
- Knowledge of how to coordinate the preparation and costing of new product quotes
