The Account Executive’s primary job is to identify new business opportunities with mid-size business accounts. We deal with transactions up to $20 million so the right candidate must be comfortable working with both small ticket transactions as well as large ticket transactions, while communicating with C-level executives. The Account Executive works directly with an experienced Sales Manager to develop industry knowledge, skills and strategies to build relationships with “C” level executives and identify potential transactions. This is a career-oriented position where six figures are realistic within 18 months of hard work and learning.
We seek out individuals who:
-Have 1-4 years of Sales experience
-Are highly competitive, articulate and motivated
-Proven track record of relationship management and meeting sales goals
-Want to build a lucrative career interacting with C-level executives in a stable industry
-Daily business to business prospecting for new accounts
-Territory database development
-Identifying and qualifying financial transactions
-Working with management to analyze, price and structure transactions
- Continued Personal Development through 1:1 and classroom style industry training
Upon completion of initial 3 day training seminar for all new hires, Regents continues the on job training program with a dedicated training manager to develop the following skills (including but not limited to):
-Financial analysis of major accounts
-Structuring, pricing, and negotiating finance and loan packages
-Able to discuss capital budget and expenditures with C level executives (after training)
-Major account and relationship development
-Transaction management and syndication
Training Program – First 12 Months- The AE Certification: The Regents Capital training method is designed to provide a firm foundation in mental, emotional and physical mindsets and skill sets required to achieve peak performance in the Equipment Finance Industry. We believe that each account executive deserves the opportunity to not only be given a platform for learning and engagement but also for the opportunity to take full responsibility of the peak performance opportunity provided.
Highlights of the training program include:
Dedicated Training Manager
Bi-weekly 1:1 meetings with training manager for dedicated training/discussions
Five training tracks available to match/challenge your knowledge base at the right time. Topics include prospecting, qualifying, building opportunity & pipeline, funding, mental tenacity, mindset and career growth.
Classroom style, Hands-on and individually mentored training styles included
AE Certification – once each rep has completed the training track and certification requirements, the rep may opt to become AE Certified and promote to an Account Manager to be assigned to a dedicated sales team.
