If you are a reliable and personable individual and are looking for a good temp-to-perm opportunity, contact us here at Staff Force! We are looking for Customer Service Representatives to place with a number of our client companies. You will interact via telephone with customers and provide them with a variety of services, depending on the specific needs of the client. You will work in a business-casual warehouse environment, however it will be important that you maintain a professional demeanor at all times when speaking with customers as well as a professional appearance should you be placed in a front-office role.

Job Responsibilities


As a Customer Service Representative, you will ensure that customers are treated with courtesy and efficiency and that their inquiries and concerns are addressed in a professional and knowledgeable manner. You will receive a high volume of calls and will be on the telephone for the majority of each day.

Your specific duties as a Customer Service Representative will include:

  • Receiving inbound calls from customers
  • Taking orders for products
  • Making follow-up outbound calls as required
  • Make outbound sales calls
  • Resolving customer complaints and conflicts
  • Setting up new customer accounts in our computer system
  • Performing data entry and recording customer information

Job Requirements

As a Customer Service Representative, you must be dependable, responsible and able to work at a fast pace while always being able to occupy yourself with new tasks as needed. You must also be a team player with a solid work ethic who is always prompt, on time and committed to maintaining consistent work attendance. It will also be important that you display exceptional attention to detail and solid organizational skills. You must also have strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills as well as excellent grammar.

 

Specific qualifications for the Customer Service Representative position include:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Stable work history with at least 2 years at each position
  • Proven over-the-phone customer service experience, both inbound and outbound
  • Used to high call volume
  • Ability to type 40 wpm and to enter 6000 keystrokes per hour on a numeric keypad
  • Professional demeanor and telephone voice
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Customer service experience in a warehouse/industrial environment preferred
  • Bilingual ability a plus
