Job Description

  • Provide Long Term Care and TCU clients relief from stress, pain, and depression using a variety of integrative therapies such as aroma therapy, guided imagery, healing touch and music, hand massage, meditation, and breathing exercise.
  • Create individualized healing approaches to meet the needs of the resident/client.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to multi-task and adaptable to work environment needed.
  • Compassion and caring attitude needed for elders that may have a variety of emotional, physical, cultural and dementia-related needs.
  • Create, develop and lead a variety of large and small groups based on resident interests.
  • Interview and create resident care plans based on MDS resident assessments.
  • Attend weekly Care Conferences as part of the interdisciplinary health care team.
  • Follow all company policy and procedures and comply with all required training; comply with all state, federal laws, rules and regulations.
  • Must be able to push a wheelchair, walk, sit and stand throughout the day.
  • Ability to work with staff, family, volunteers and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Work as a team member and adapt to changes in work assignments to meet resident and/or staffing needs.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • Certification in Integrative Health Modalities & experience in a clinical setting
  • Experience in a long-term care environment with adults 62+, preferred
