We are seeking a Business Development Manager who is proficient in selling software development services, federal contracting and ideally with USPTO experience.
The ideal candidate would have experience selling software development services.. Candidates will have a history working to identify, capture and close federal contracts across relevant USPTO organizations. The Business Development manager will be a key player in building partnerships and creating a platform for the company to showcase our technical solutions and services.
What you can expect to work on
Identifying, managing, and positioning our Client to capture new and existing business opportunities, including developing a pipeline of opportunities, teaming relationships, analyzing the competition, develop price-to-win strategies, tracking targeted opportunities, and developing proposal responses to generate revenue in the federal, state, local and commercial markets.
Leading and directing the development of compelling and compliant proposal responses to RFPs, RFQs, Task Orders, RFIs and Sources Sought Notices. Manage the development and continuous improvement of proposal management processes, tools, and templates.
Leveraging internal network with customers and partners that will result in meaningful business
Supporting corporate growth strategy by business development that creates valuable growth across the government sector
Mentoring the team in all-things business development and proposals – from developing data-driven strategies for customer capture to creation of winning proposals
Developing and manage a business development and proposal process that maximizes closure of opportunities, is accessible and understandable to the company to help provide transparency of growth and ability to suggest BD opportunities, and streamlines efficiencies across HQ staff to ensure that appropriate resources are dedicated to support growth
Mastering the ability to balance and prioritize competing requirements

Grow new opportunities and prospect to generate new business
Establish new business with existing customers and new customers

Develop new sales leads for territory
Identifying and managing new business opportunities
Generate new sales by cold calling
Attending sales meetings with potential clients
Follow up new business opportunities and set up meetings
