You have an exciting opportunity to work as a Provider Relations Specialist or a Utah-based medical billing/provider services company.  The right candidate will be motivated and professional, with a commitment to production of the highest quality and positive contribution to the team. As Provider Relations Specialist, you would be at the heart of the organization, working for the Managed Care Group and be the liaison between the physician offices. You will be reviewing contracts, and work with in-house departments, physician offices and health plan to resolve issues.

 

Job Activities:

  • Review and analyze enrollment documents including education, residency and fellowship training, board certification and eligibility, licensure, professional work history, liability insurance, and malpractice history.
  • Research and Maintain current state, facility and payer enrollment processes and requirements for assigned health care clients
  • Generate contracting, insurance enrollment, licensing or privileging applications for requested companies, states or facilities
  • Obtain missing information from provider or client as required to complete applications
  • Review all applications for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain and monitor active enrollments, licenses and privileges with required companies for active providers.
  • Coordinate with billing team or company to ensure accurate claim submission and reimbursement

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalency.

Prefer experience 2-5 years getting contracts completed between carriers and physicians or Primary source credentialing

Computer competency, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word.

  • Provider Coordinator or Analyst experience is a plus
  • Must have 1 year+ of medical credentialing experience

Pay Range: $20 – 25

 

This is a temp-to-hire position with potential to be hired on.
