Currently, Ambit seeks a Director of Business Operations to join and contribute to our growing company.  The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical and business skills and will support our Chief Business Officer in the day-day business enterprise integration.


Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Performance Management:
    • Lead Internal Project Performance (IPRs)
      • Assess and support deliverable quality across the enterprise
      • Maintain artifacts
      • Support Communities of Practice
    • Interface with Corporate partners on sub-contracts
      • Maintain strong partnerships
      • Ensure excellent client delivery
    • Experience with Objectives and Key Results and Impact Maps
  • Interface with Corporate Growth:
    • Act as the connector, collector and integrator of data and information in the Ambit environment
    • Oversee Tiger Teams
  • Support the Ambit Employee Experience:
    • Actively participate in the Ambit Employee Experience Tiger Teams: identify emerging leaders, recommend training and development, provide mentorship and coaching, and ensure high level of employee engagement
    • Actively participate in Ambit’s Culture initiatives
    • Support policy creation and implementation
  • Educational Experience:
    • 10+ years’ experience in Federal contracting
    • Maintain advanced certifications: PMP/Agile
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    • Proven record of effective client management
    • Demonstrated ability to earn trust and respect of key customers and to drive organic growth
    • Ability to manage difficult/delicate customer conversations
    • Demonstrated experience developing business and market strategies
    • Experience in management of program financials
    • Existing robust relationships with relevant Federal
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills:
    • Demonstrate ability to develop polished and well-thought written communications
    • Experience in creating lasting connection with geographically dispersed teams
  • Capture Management:
    • Proven record of pursuing and winning new business opportunities of significant size, complexity of scope and/or following a unique, complex business model
    • Ability to write content, edit and review proposals
