Position Title Civil Engineer – Water Resources

Location Lewisville, TX

Position Purpose

To grow key relationships for stormwater projects within the Dallas Fort-Worth area for new and existing clients. To develop and execute stormwater projects including technical, financial, approvals, and permitting issues while exceeding client expectations. To manage and mentor assigned staff across office locations.

Essential Functions + Responsibilities

Lead a production team, provide resource management, resolve complex technical problems, coach, train, and mentor design and CAD professionals, and work collaboratively with all team members on all aspects of project execution

Coordinate and oversee resource scheduling to ensure workload and deadlines are managed effectively

Establish, promote and ensure quality on all projects and work performed by group staff

Develop proposals or contracts that ensure the contract scope is adequate for the project, provide the desired level of profitability, and ensure that the project schedule is viable

Understand business initiatives and concerns of current and prospective clients to recognize and promote new opportunities and cross-sell other services provided by the firm

Assist in the development of short-term and long-term strategic market sector plans, with focus in the Dallas Fort-Worth market

Responsible for the profitable operation of the Dallas Fort-Worth Water Resources group

Requirements

 

1.  Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related.

2.  PE.

3.  7 or more years of site civil engineering as it applies to stormwater and natural resources.
