Job Description


We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. Duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. If you have previous experience administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we would like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.


Skills

• Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant

• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures

• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines

• Proficiency in MS Office

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

• High School degree: additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus Job


Type: Full-time

Pay: Based on Experience

Schedule: Monday -Friday 8 to 5 (rotating weekends)



Experience: • administrative assistant: 1 year (Preferred)


Education: • High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities: Maintain a professional, yet friendly, atmosphere in the New Home Sales Office and Design Center and other areas where prospective homeowners and guests congregate; Able to apply principals of logical thinking to a variety of practical situations and accurately follow standardized procedures or processes; Aids the team effort in every way possible & acts in the best interest of the company; Flexibility with schedule for customers and/or company needs; Be able to professionally communicate over the telephone, email and in person with customers, staff and vendors Answer phones; Meet & greet customers; Update Reports and calendars; Keep Director of Design Center and Director of Sales informed with Design Center activities; Introduces purchasers to Design Center, including services offered, selections process and objectives; Open, inspect and close Design Center daily; Ensure appearance and cleanliness of Design Center at all times;
