The Process Engineer will provide technical expertise and support to proposals and projects.
Process Engineer Responsibilities:
Development and review of technical documents, such as process flow diagrams, P&IDs, material balances, specifications, and feasibility studies.
Evaluate system performance and analyze data in order to provide recommendations on system improvements and/or design changes. Experience with ion exchange media is strongly desired.
Provide input to project managers and technical leads during the development of cost estimates and execution schedules. This includes routine updates during lifecycle of a project.
Provide technical guidance for resolution of issues that arise during the design, construction, commissioning, and operation of various chemical treatment processes.
Attend project meetings with peers, project management, senior management, and customers. Responsibilities in the meetings include providing status on assigned tasks and engaging in technical discussions.
Process Engineer Requirements:
BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
EIT or PE preferred
5+ years of experience in related engineering field
Nuclear experience is preferred
Experience with water treatment systems is strongly preferred (specifically filtration and ion exchange)
